Good for skiing

Reviewed 26 May 2016

The apartments were good. The location was ok – we had no problem finding shops and restaurants throughout the week and you could reach the ski slopes in about 5-10 minutes. Inside was quite small but perfectly livable. The rest of the holiday was good; the transfers were long because of traffic but there’s nothing you can do to fix that!

For skiing and crashing, not to spend lots of time in!

Reviewed 26 May 2016

If you’re going to book these apartments, make sure you’re there for the skiing and not the accommodation. And be prepared to spend money on eating out!
We found them a bit too basic for our liking. I understand they’re at the budget end of the range, and a popular crash pad kind of place for people who want to ski. But for families and anyone else who actually wants to spend time in the apartment they’re pretty desperate.
Considering the description, they weren’t quite the level we thought we were going to get, they really were extremely basic. No huge complaints as we bought the holiday on the basis that they were cheap and cheerful, but we wouldn’t stay here again or recommend the apartments to others.
The rooms were incredibly small and the kitchenette was nigh on useless, with no oven – you can’t really cook and we were forced to eat out or get takeaways.
The location is kind of convenient from a skiing point of view as relatively speaking you’re only a short walk from the slopes. They were quite noisy at night but that’s just the nature of Val d’Isere.

Fine, staff amazing

Reviewed 23 May 2016

Our apartment was absolutely fine. With 2 of us in a 4 bed place we had loads of space which was really good. It would probably be a bit cosy for 4 people, but not out of ordinary for a French apartment. There were a few things missing from ours, but within 5 minutes the reception staff downstairs had sorted it out. They were great – any problems we had they sorted it out straight away. The apartments have a good location, within walking distance to the town, supermarkets and restaurants.

Lovely week in Val - good last minute deal!

Reviewed 18 May 2016

We had a lovely time here, no real problems with the accommodation (the cooker broke, but they were pretty good at getting it sorted). We did a mix of self-catering and eating out, the apartments are quite close to the centre of Val d’Isere so finding shops and restaurants was easy. They’re also near the slopes which was good. The best thing about the holiday was the price! We booked with Sno a week before we went and got a really good deal.
