This will be the third time we've been to the Hotel Les Sherpas. It's a very comfortable hotel, not very big, only about 30-35 rooms. Staff are seasonal and they change year on year.
It’s privately owned, it's not part of a group, so you do see the lady who I think owns it, occasionally. Overall, it's great.
Over the years I've stayed in the good hotels in 1650 and 1850 and we tend to stay at the top end. So I will probably give this hotel a 5/5 rating. The food is very good! The ski access is not bad, they’ve got a ski shuttle. It's less than a 5 minute ride where I asked them to take me and drop me off on a slope, which is fine. You could walk to a slope if you wanted to, quite a few people do, that’s probably 5 minutes. The hotel is tucked away in Courchevel 1850, but it’s close to the Jardin Alpin gondola. One thing to note is that Courchevel 1850 is not a cheap area, so be mindful that the cost of food and everything else is quite dear.
