Absolutely fine.

The accommodation was ok, we normally stay in 5* hotels in Val Thorens, so as far as this hotel goes, it was absolutely fine. The staff were fine too, no problems at all.

It was 100% great value for what you get. The rooms and all that were ok and clean, just the bathroom was tiny, but we coped ok. But the hotel was lovely.

The location was amazing, it’s ski in/ski out. The ski & boot room was absolutely fine and the access to the skiing was amazing.

Tonnes of space

The apartment was nice and big and great for a family as it was a duplex apartment.
The pool was a little cold, however, so we didn’t use it much. The spa is adult-only but it’s really nice, with a couple steam rooms, saunas and a jacuzzi. The staff were lovely. The boot room is brilliant. The food was very French and a bit strange. The standard was good but not great for vegetarians and kids. Limited choice. Most people do B&B and the apartment has big kitchen facilities, so it is easy to self-cater if you want. We loved the raclette night though and the afternoon pancakes. The location is brilliant. Right on the slope and opposite a cable car. You have to get a magic carpet up to the ski school meet point, though. The slopes were nice and empty as well which was great. Just do B&B if staying at this hotel, unless you have adventurous kids.

Absolutely loved it.

It looked just like in the photo and we loved it. Would go back. Great staff. Easy access to the slopes. The closest run is a blue, may be a struggle for beginners. It is down a long slope that is a bit steep and not very wide, and get busy especially first thing.
