More famous among the Swiss than Brits

Engelberg is a bit of an unknown in the UK, but to the Swiss it’s one of their premier resorts. There is a fantastic and quite famous off-piste run called the Laub which is over 1000m long. The resort also boasts the ‘Titlis Bahn’, a gondola which takes skiers up to a high level glacier, so you are pretty much guaranteed skiing even if the snow conditions are not perfect in lower resorts.
