All had a good week

Reviewed 2 Jun 2014

The chalet was really nice, we stayed here as a big group and everyone was totally happy. It was nice to have the top floor bit where everyone had space to do whatever they wanted in the evenings. The bedrooms were comfortable with enough room for everything. Food was fine, what you’d expect from a chalet in France. They were very flexible so if the younger children wanted something different it wouldn’t be a problem. The hosts were very good. To get to the skiing the younger people could take the bus and we could walk over to the lift station to take the lift up.

Very happy. Want to rebook for next year

Great venue. The chalet is in a brilliant position, right by the lift. It’s classified as ski in / ski out, and there is a green run outside, but it’s so flat really you need to walk for a minute or two to get to the lift, unless you manage to get enough speed up somehow. There is also a black run you can ski down from the chalet, but I didn’t attempt this!
Our chalet hosts were very nice and very helpful. The food was good quality, although the portions weren’t big. We felt that breakfast was a bit stingy and the evening meals were also sometimes quite small. They were 3 courses, a starter of soup or salad or similar, then a main of veg and meat or fish, and there was a veggie option too. One of our group is quite a picky eater and she didn’t like everything, so what the hosts did for her was to ask her in the morning what she wanted that evening and then try and accommodate to her taste, but she wasn’t as keen on some of the dishes. I liked the food though.
We were very happy with the staff. They were very professional. I plan to rebook the same chalet for next year.
