Le Bonheur is a great little chalet and we had a fabulous week. It isn’t the most luxurious of chalets in that the rooms are all quite small - we’d never stayed in an 8 person chalet before (we normally stay in chalets that sleep 20+) but it was very clean and the chalet hosts were lovely. The food was fabulous – a little more upmarket than everyday cooking but nice, normal dishes. One thing I’ve never had before is canapés on the first night and the last night, and on the morning we left they sent us all off with bacon rolls which I thought was really nice.
The location is dead central for the bars and restaurants but it’s quite a long walk away from the lifts (probably ten minutes) but they have an arrangement with a ski shop near the slopes so we didn’t have to walk in ski boots with equipment.

Louisa was a lovely, obliging host and an excellent chef – taking time to cook what I liked and could eat. Truly the best vegan food on any ski holiday I have had (and I’ve had a few!) Big gold star!
