Fine for what we paid

Reviewed 11 Jun 2014

We had a great week in La Plagne but probably wouldn’t stay in this chalet again. The walls are very thin and it’s also very open plan with a kitchen-diner-lounge on the ground floor - the noise traveled straight up. It’s also a bit small, especially our room. The food was bog standard, nothing exciting but nothing terrible either; I’ve been in other chalets with much better food though. The host was very keen to get out in the mornings so if you didn’t turn up to breakfast by 7:30 it would just be left there on the table, which made everything feel a bit rushed.
The location is good as you can get out onto a blue run quite easily by just walking up the road a few hundred yards. If you’re adventurous you could also ski out another way but we didn’t try it!

Ski close to door & easy lift access

Reviewed 25 Aug 2013

Almost doorstep skiing, the Bergeres and Melezes chairlifts are easily reachable. For the village centre, use the nearby telebus to get easy access. An open-plan living and dining area are a wonderful setting while lounging by the open hearth as you sip wine, in case the balcony seems a little too cold for you. The en-suite bedrooms make this a particularly popular choice of chalet for adult groups of friends and skiing families. Neighbouring chalet Charmant means you’re surrounded by plenty of friendly goggle-tanned faces.
