Apart from the location being fine (you just had to walk down to the slopes), everything else was awful, absolutely terrible. The food was disgusting. We booked the hotel thinking we’d be on our own and hadn’t realized we had to mix and match with other guests at dinner times. It wasn’t a problem for me as much but some guests just didn’t want to meet other people.
The bathroom/toilet doors didn’t close (not just ours, other people complained too). The whole place was just shabby and horrible.
We had a terrible problem with the ESF instructor who was really horrible to my daughter.
I wouldn’t recommend it!

The location was fantastic, about a 3 minute walk to the lifts and all downhill. The food was brilliant and the staff were great. The rooms were basic but comfortable. There weren’t any English channels on the TV but this is a small thing.
It’s a hotel that suits everyone across the board – families, groups. It’s not luxury but its great value. We paid a phenomenally good price.

Les Cimes is one of the best I’ve been to – it’s fantastic. It’s an ex-hotel and it’s what you expect, a very good, general purpose property. The chalet staff were very good, very helpful and all friendly.
The food is good, you get a choice in the morning and evening so you can pick what you want and you have the usual red and white wine to accompany the food. One of the other guests called the chef out at the end of the week so everyone could thank him; he was very shy but deserved the thanks. On the chalet night out we ate at Le Genepi which is really good - we’d eaten there before and would again.
It has excellent accessibility, other than the fact that the 2 man chair lift (which it should take about 1 minute to ski down to) was closed all week when we were here because of conditions. We had to walk 5 minutes or so to the bottom station to the yoghurt pot lift in the village which is very slow and old; overall the journey took about 25 minutes more than it would have if the chair lift was running. We did manage to ski back at the end of the day to a point literally 5 minutes walk to the hotel, so it was only the journey out that took a while. The route to ski back is easy, anyone could do it. It’s pretty flat at points and you have to push and walk a bit but it is quite straight forward.
The ensuite room we stayed in was clean, not spotlessly clean but we didn’t expect it to be so this wasn’t a problem.
