The chalet hotel is in a perfect location, a stones throw away from the Silvrettabahn gondola and you can basically ski back to the accommodation! The rooms are very spacious and clean, the bathrooms are beautiful and the common areas are clean and look great as well. The balconies are mostly shared, but are very big and the beds are very comfortable too!
The ski hire shop is a 30sec walk (approx. 70m away). Ischgl is also great for early/late season as it has loads of ski cannons to top up any snow if needed.
The apres ski is a 1min walk away (and is fantastic)...I would recommend visiting Schatzi and Kuhstall, but there is no shortage of apres in Ischgl. My top 5x apres spots are Schatzi, Kuhstall, Trofana Alm, Freeride and Fire & Ice.

The Abendrot is an excellent Chalet Hotel - the best we have ever stayed in. All the staff were helpful and polite.

It was perfectly positioned a two minute walk to either gondola and you could ski back to the door if you were a reasonably good skier – it was a nice long run down but not for a beginner (you can get the gondola down if you don’t want to ski). You’re only a 1 minute walk into town but it’s still quite quiet.
The food was really good with cheese every night and we liked the wine - there was too much really, but that isn’t a complaint! There was only one meal that wasn’t brilliant – it was a lasagne that wasn’t very warm because it had been left out, but the chef actually came out and said he was really sorry. Afternoon tea was always good.
As for the rest, the rooms were nice, the staff were really lovely, there was a nice little bar and the boot room was good.
