Great value for money! And the convenience is brilliant as well. You get the kind of privacy you wouldn’t get from a hotel and I liked the extra space of the communal areas, where you could really relax, sit around and slob about a bit – in a way you can’t really relax in hotel lounges.
The food was very good; the hostesses were excellent. We had three vegetarians out of the group and they changed some of the dishes to make them without meat first, then incorporate meat later for those who wanted it. We had good hearty meals which is just what you need when skiing.
The rooms were bigger than I’ve had in the hotels I normally stay in (in similar resorts for similar prices). When you’re on this kind of holiday you always have a lot of stuff that you just want to leave in the corner rather than have to climb over – there was plenty of space for that.
For our friends with a baby, there was plenty of space to store stuff and prepare things for him.
It was a 10-15 minute walk from the chalet into town – easily walkable just fairly slow. The chalet company have a shuttle bus that stops about 20 metres from the front door, and if you wait for that it only takes 3-4 minutes to reach the main point in Meribel. Within a couple of minutes’ walk there’s a decent sized supermarket where you can stock up on what you needed.

Very good week in Meribel. The best thing about staying here was the chef who produced a good mix of meals. The chalet isn’t too fancy but it was just right for the price – clean and comfortable. It’s a good size (sleeps six) and it’s in a good area, so I didn’t have to walk too far for the bus (there was a bar nearby but you needed a bus to get into Meribel). The only issue was that the boot warmers were short for the number if people staying in the chalet.

Location within Meribel was superb. Easy access to all elements, lifts, runs, bars, night life.

Probably the nicest place we've ever stayed. The mix of old traditional chalet style with modern luxury (especially the massive bedroom and very comfortable bathroom) was brilliant.

Chalet was much better than it looked on the website. Lovely, cosy and homely!
