Trysil Trysilfjellet Easter holidays

Don’t knock Norway for Easter skiing until you’ve seen its snow record – while the ski areas aren’t high, they get a super amount of snow and keep it cool all season. Trysil’s lifts are usually running until the end of April or early May, which means Eastertime should see no problems when it comes to enjoying the slopes. ‘Early skiing’ is often available, when you can enjoy fresh, empty slopes before the lifts officially open – skiing as the sun rises is spectacular.

There are often exciting events on at this time of year, such as the Norwegian Snowboard Championships at the end of March which bring a buzz to resort and make for fun spectating. The tourist office tend to put on Easter festivities too, like Valles Easter Parade in the children’s zone at Trysil Høyfjellssenter. With milder weather and longer days, there’s all kinds of opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities from après ski to dog sledding.

Our accommodation in Trysil generally comes in the form of hotels, which offer bed and breakfast as well as half board packages. If you want to see what’s available in other resorts over the Easter holidays, have a look at our packages worldwide here.
