Sestriere New Year holidays
New Year at the resort is vibrant and fun, bringing a variety of nationalities to join in the celebrations. The Italian resorts are perfect if you are after a more relaxed atmosphere than the Austrian or French counterparts.
At midnight the resort puts on a firework display for all to enjoy and most people gather round the festive Christmas tree with a glass (or bottle) in hand to join in the countdown. Many Italians come to the resort to celebrate their New Year which creates a great chance to mingle and soak up some Italian culture in the lively and social atmosphere that the New Year creates. If you are looking to party, you won’t be disappointed - there are a number of lively, charismatic bars and restaurants for evening drinks like Il Kovo, Igloo Bar and Bar Abba. For a fee you can go to a party at Tabata night club.
Certain hotels put on dinners and parties to ensure you make the most of your New Year celebrations, when booking check if this option is available. Enjoy centrally located hotels for ski-in ski-out proximity just a stone’s throw away from the popular bars and restaurants as well as self-catered apartments for a more intimate holiday.
