Kronplatz Half Term holidays

The week off school is a fantastic time to visit Kronplatz. As the Italians don’t get this school holiday and most Brit’s at half-term tend to flock towards France and Austria, the slopes should be largely uncrowded. Combining this with traditionally good snowfall and excellent slope maintenance, beginners should have the space to practice confidently while more advanced skiers can roam the pistes in true freedom. The resort’s ultra-modern lift system also keeps things moving fluidly so your exploration of the mountain should be seamless and hassle-free.

Escaping the classroom calls for letting loose and chilling out in equal measure. Grown-ups can tear down the ‘Black 5’ during the day, being sure to have frequent rest stops at a cosy mountain café. The wellness facilities down in the valley are also a must-visit for ultimate de-stressing.

Children making the most of their time off school will love the facilities in the resort. There are 9 ski schools with loads of experience teaching little ones, whilst the 2 main learners’ areas are designed as a fun place to pick up the technique. ‘Croni’, the resort mascot, can be seen all over the mountain and there’s even a Croni children’s dining room in the Kronrestaurant... Teens meanwhile can test their skills on the snow park or take a course in snowboarding.
