Dolomiti Superski Easter ski holidays

  • Dolomiti Superski Easter skiing packages snowboarding

There aren’t many things that beat skiing down a sunny spring slope, with blue sky above you and a seriously decent view stretching into the distance… When the sun is out, it does mean that the skiing late into the afternoon can be a bit tiresome with the slush, so it’s best to hit the slopes first thing. There’s always the option of heading to the Marmolada glacier (especially if you’re staying in Arabba which has the easiest access) - peaking at 3343m, the skiing up here is fantastic with some great runs for experienced skiers.

If you’d rather use the slush as an excuse to go for an early drink, there are plenty of slope-side huts to visit. Rifugio Fodom has a balcony for a snack and a view in Arabba, Canazei and Cortina both have a rather lively après ski scene and with the go-go girls and atmosphere at Piz Seteur in Selva, you’ll ski by and want to stop.

There’s also a lot of stuff to do if you’re not skiing. The horse and carriage rides in Alta Badia and Val Gardena are a great way to enjoy the sun. Ice rinks can be found in each of the main areas as well as marked toboggan runs. The snowshoeing and cross-country is another way to appreciate how much of a stunner the area really is as well as a good way to earn the local pastries and cakes in the village cafes...
