Weather and Man Made Snow in Madesimo
On an annual basis, Madesimo's average frozen precipitation is 391cm.
This natural weather-created snowfall is helped along with 60 snow guns or "cannons" on 13km of piste - that's over 75% of the total length of Madesimo trails.
Off-piste snowboarding and sking is allowed and of course this has the secondary effect of reducing the wear and tear on snow condition on the pisted runs.
