Andorra also offers fair facilities for groups, and offers great value for money with first time ski packages, free kids lift passes and some of the more reasonably priced resort bar and restaurants. Recently Pas de la Casa, Soldeu and El Tarter have joined with surrounding resorts in 6 valleys to create one of the biggest linked ski areas in Europe, the Grand Valira, with 205km of pistes, to rival the best linked areas in Europe. Pas De La Casa is a good choice for younger groups looking for a party atmosphere. Soldeu and El Tarter are good for family groups.

Andorra: Best Ski Resorts for Groups

Probably best known for its après ski culture and long sunny days, Pas is the liveliest ski village in Andorra and with boundless opportunities both on and off the slopes, you may well be in need of another holiday when you get back. As part of the largest ski domain in the Pyrenees, the skiing is not to be sniffed at - and with cut price heli-skiing on the cards it’s a brilliant choice as a second trip for snowsports aficionados.

Soldeu and El Tarter are the more reserved neighbours of lively Pas de La Casa, and share the same Grandvalira ski area with the best skiing in the Pyrenees. Over 200km of slopes, three immaculately maintained snowparks, and enough mountain restaurants to keep even gastro-skiers occupied. Down at resort level great bars and restaurants let you take advantage of Andorra’s famous sunny afternoons and, if you’re looking for a trip to avoid the crowds and prices of the Alps, a ski holiday in Soldeu or El Tarter is hard to beat.

Arinsal may remain one of Europe’s most underrated ski destinations, but year on year it closes the gap on the larger resorts. With some of the sunniest skiing in Europe, incredible duty free shopping and dining and a massive range of off slope activities, Arinsal is a more than viable alternative, especially during the busiest weeks of the season.
