Val Gardena provides you with a pretty fail-safe last minute option as there is plenty of skiing, accommodation and après-ski to play around with.

The slopes massively benefit from snow canons covering a large percentage of the slopes, especially in the colder months. With the resorts between 1200 -1600m, going higher to the slopes leaves you at areas equal to and above the 2000m mark – promising later down the timeline when the slush and ice can affect some of the lower altitudes.
