The Braunbär Hotel & Spa is what traditional Swiss ski stays are all about. The hotel gets the balance of cosy and modern just right, with lots of natural wood and fleecy throws throughout, and a log fire in the lounge adding that oh-so snug mountain lodge feel. Back at the hotel, bar time and spa time are both on the après agenda. Stash the ski gear and grab your towel for a swim and a sauna. Then once you’ve freshened up, sip a tipple with a live music soundtrack. The food’s a treat too, with lip-smacking plates of alpine fare to fill you up after a day’s skiing. And for something extra special, you can splash out on a group meal in the Grillkota to feast on raclette. Here as a couple? Book the ‘Number 100’ gondola and enjoy a cheesy fondue treat for two instead.
