This operator specialises in catered chalet ski holidays in the French Alps - across 10 different ski resorts with fantastic snow records.

Flights and transfers can be included with your chalet accommodation (usually with Saturday as the travel day) or these holidays can be booked accommodation-only if that better suits your plans.

Ski Packs including lift passes, ski hire and lessons are usually available to pre-book, which often works out a lot cheaper than arranging things in-resort. Lots of these chalets are family friendly and it’s possible to arrange childcare for an extra fee. Chalet hosts take care of the catering and cleaning and have all kinds of hot-off-the-press information about what’s going on in your resort.

These holidays come with full ATOL protection.

There are over 50 top-notch catered chalets to tickle your fancy, sleeping from 6 to 25 guests.

Naturally, you might expect a 4-star rated chalet to have a few extra doses of dazzle than a 3-star one - perhaps the ability to ski straight out of the front door, touches like heated towel rails or every skier’s dream - a warm bubbling hot tub.

Catering traditionally includes breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner with wine on 6 days. Wednesdays are usually the hosts’ day off, giving you the chance to have an evening dining out at whichever local restaurant catches your eye. Chalet hosts have been trained in the highest altitude cookery school in the Alps and the food they serve gets some fabulous feedback - a starter could come along the lines of a baked Camembert, then a hearty main dish might be a Moroccan casserole with desserts such as panna cotta. Most dietary requirements should be no problem but do let us know about these when booking so that we can make sure. Ski Beat Brand & History

Ski Beat Ltd was founded in 1990 by a group of friends who had so much fun going to France to work a ‘ski season’, they decided to jump right in and launch their own ski holiday company.

The UK office is in Brighton, with some staff also based closer to their chalets in France.
