These wonderful Log cabins are a fantastic addition to our programme in Ruka. The cabins vary in size and location and each has a welcoming interior and a host of amenities. All of them are built in traditional, Finnish style; made of naturally matured, pine-tree logs, put on top of each other, you should experience an authentic Finnish holiday by choosing one of these highly recommended cabins.
All of these cabins are close to a ski bus stop, although it should be noted that the Kotatie and Tunturitila cabins are the closest to the resort centre, at less than a kilometre away, whereas the Rantaruka cabins are approximately 3.5km away. Offering good, comfortable accommodation in this incredible winter wonderland resort, the Ruka Log cabins are a superb choice for your ski holiday to Finnish Lapland.

All cabins have a kitchenette with an electric stove, hot plates, kettle, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Private sauna, shower room, WC and a drying cabinet for clothes. Living/dining area with TV and DVD player. Bed linen, towels and end of stay cleaning (except kitchen area) included.
Type F cabin (Kotatie) - sleep 2-7: Well equipped (upstairs) apartment in a 2-storey cabin. Ground floor: Kitchen and living area, two twin bedrooms (one L shaped), bathroom with shower, WC and a sauna. Upper level: Twin bedroom plus one bed in loft (mezzanine) area.
Type G cabin (Tunturitila) - sleep 2-8 (max 6 adults & 2 children): Well equipped log apartment in a semi-detached cabin. Downstairs: Kitchen and living area, 2 twin bedrooms, 2x WC, sauna, 2x showers. Upper level: Twin bedroom (in the eaves, with a sloping roof and low ceiling) and an open space mezzanine with double bed and mattresses.
Type D1 cabin (Rantaruka 1A1) - sleep 2-5 (max 4 adults only): Cosy log apartment in a terraced cabin. Ground floor: Kitchen and living area, with a double sofa bed, sauna, shower and WC. Upper floor: Loft area with 3 mattresses.
Type E cabin (Rantaruka 2D3) - sleep 2-6: Well equipped log apartment in a terraced cabin. Ground floor: Kitchen and living area, one double bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms, a shower, 2 x WC and a sauna.
