In a quiet spot between Canazei and the village of Alba, these apartments are a great self-catering option, just 10 minutes from the slopes. The Belvedere gondola is an easy walk, or you can hop on the ski bus, which is just a few minutes away. Our own Pepi Penguin and Whizz Kids clubs are in the neighbouring Chalet Violetta, so it's perfect for the little ones too.

Families - any extra notes for parents with children

Pepi Penguin and Whizz Kids childcare clubs are based at the Chalet Violetta, just 3 minutes' walk from the Residence Casa Canazei. They provide childcare for babies and children aged 6 months-4 years and 4-11 years, on either a full or half-day basis.

The Pepi Penguin club (6mths-4yrs) is run by our own qualified childcare staff and is held in a dedicated room within the hotel. It's equipped with toys, games and a special sleep area. Outdoor play is included, weather and parental consent permitting.

What's included

  • A full day's care from 8.30am to 5pm plus Snuggle Club in selected properties (7.30pm to 9.30pm), or
  • Morning-only care from 8.30am to 2pm, including lunch, or
  • Afternoon-only care from 2pm to 5pm
  • 2-course hot lunch (for children attending full-day and morning-only clubs)
  • Snacks and drinks throughout the day
  • A daily routine and activities report for your child
Activities vary daily. We'll find time for stories, singing, arts and crafts including painting and collage making, plus messy play in the sand tray and free play with age-relevant toys set out so that children can choose what they want to do.

We're also really keen to take in some fresh mountain air each day, so we aim to have an outdoor activity at least daily. This could be sledging, bumboarding, snowy walks, gondola rides or snow painting. And if your child is used to having a nap, we'll factor that in too.

The Whizz Kids club (4yrs-11yrs) provides lots of fun-filled days as our childcare staff offer a combination of care for non-skiing children. For children wanting to ski, our Whizzclusive option is available for children from 4 years. This includes 6 x AM ski lessons, pick-up and drop-off from ski lessons, lunch and afternoon care by staff in the dedicated Whizz Kids club room.

What's included
  • A full day's care from 8.30am to 5pm plus Pyjama Club in selected properties (7.30pm to 9.30pm)
  • 2-course hot lunch
  • Snacks and drinks throughout the day
  • Whizzclusive only: 6 x am ski lessons, ski school drop-off/pick-ups. child's skis, boots and helmet hire.
Activities vary daily and are often based around a theme, covering everything from games to arts and crafts to reading.

We're also really keen on outdoor play, so we aim to get outside at least daily, for a dedicated activity in the fresh mountain air. This could be sledging, bumboarding, bus bingo, snowman competitions or treasure hunts.

Both clubs operate for 6 days and must be pre-booked to guarantee a place.

This package holiday to Residence Casa Canazei in Canazei, Italy departs Saturday 24th March 2018, for a 7 night stay on a "self catering" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 15/16 was between 50p and £2 per person, per night.
