Situated in a fantastic ski in/out position on the slopes of Trysil, the Radisson Blu Mountain Resort is an ideal base for Alpine and cross-country skiing (you should really try this at least once!).
The hotel is modern in style and reminiscent of a mountain lodge, with plenty of exposed wood and a typical ski resort atmosphere. The location really couldn't be better since it's right next to the lifts, ensuring easy access to the 67 slopes.
There are 330 rustic yet elegant bedrooms and suites in a chalet-style design, many of which boast a stunning mountain view. Our Lodge Guest Rooms include a king-size bed, flat-screen TV, hair dryer, safe, free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee making facilities, private ensuite bathroom with bath tub or shower and WC. Many of the rooms and suites provide beautiful mountain views. Please note this hotel has no twin-bedded rooms.
Your package is on a Bed & Breakfast basis with the option to upgrade and have dinner included. Breakfast is a substantial buffet, served until 10:30am (11am on Sundays) in the hotel's Barken restaurant, and the extensive spread will include hot and cold items. Should you prefer to opt for a half-board arrangment, you'll either have a buffet dinner or a 3-course evening meal provided, dependent on the season, but you can expect hearty fare and tasty cuisine with regional specialties featured on the menu.
In addition to the two on-site restaurants, you can enjoy a cocktail by the fireplace at the cozy Kubben bar while appreciating the wonderful mountain views and in the evenings entertainment is common during high season in the Stabben après-ski restaurant.
The Kulpen Spa boasts an indoor swimming pool, sauna, fitness area and 12 treatment room, all of which can be booked on the spot at a supplement. Guests can also take advantage of a sports shop and ski rental service.
