Park Place Lodge puts you right in the heart of Fernie town, with downtown’s shops, cafés and après-ski spots all within walking distance. You won’t be staying slopeside, but the shuttle bus stops 10m from the hotel and gets you to the mountain in just 15 minutes – easy, breezy.
Inside, the lodge blends classic mountain charm with boutique comfort. Think warm wood accents, inviting spaces, and a relaxed, friendly vibe. You’ll stay in one of the deluxe double rooms with balconies which can take up to four – spacious, homely and ideal for soaking up some fresh air in the mornings.
Off the slopes, you’ll likely be drawn to the chandelier-lit central atrium with its indoor pool and hot tub, the latter set in a conservatory-style structure. Unconventional, yes – but totally memorable. After a dip, swing by the on-site Pub Bar & Grill to enjoy the local brews, hearty pub fare and casual atmosphere. And if you fancy fuss-free mornings, upgrade your stay to get breakfasts at the hotel’s bistrot included – think bacon-topped waffles and eggs done every way.
