Navigating in Whistler can vary, as distances from Pangea Pod Hotel to ski lifts are in a straight line.
The Pangea Pod Hotel is a unique capsule hotel concept that provides the personal space of a boutique hotel and the social vibe of a hostel. It’s a hub in the heart of Whistler Village where guests can meet like-minded travellers and socialise with friends, yet still have their own personal space to retire to (and get quality sleep in) at the end of each day.
Pangea is central, social, and affordable. Their on-site café/bar, The Living Room, is the ideal place to grab a gourmet coffee or craft beer. Try out their popular après and signature cocktails on Whistler's only rooftop patio bar.
All of Pangea’s designer pods include a double bed with privacy curtain, as well as USB charging points, hangers, towels and linens, LED lighting, and a personal fan. Suites are male and female mixed dorms.
Enjoy your day on the slopes knowing your things are safely stored with lockable cubbies in each pod and secure ski/snowboard storage (for more information on security please see our Facilities tab below).
Each of Pangea’s bathrooms is separated into four individually accessed components, including a shower cabin, bathroom with sink, changing room, and stand-alone vanity with backlit mirror.
The hotel has an unbeatable location in the centre of the pedestrianised VillageStroll. All of Whistler's best restaurants, cafes, and bars are within easy reach, and Whistler Blackcomb’s gondolas are just a couple minutes' walk away.
Transfer Time: approx. 2 hours from Vancouver Airport.
Security
Your suite is accessed via wristband keycards, with access limited to only those guests staying in that particular suite. Suites are male and female mixed dorms.
Locks are not provided, and are available for purchase at reception.
Valuables – Each pod has its own lockable cubby.
Luggage – Each pod contains an area where you can secure your suitcase using a security cable.
Ski storage – Every guest is provided with a rack for skis/snowboards and a locker for accessories (boots, helmets, goggles, etc.) in The Toy Box, Pangea’s secure gear storage area.
The hotel can be booked on a Room Only basis and does not have kitchen facilities for guests to cook in. Pangea’s on-site café/bar, The Living Room, has been designed as a welcoming space for guests to relax without needing to purchase anything.
The Living Room does have a great selection of food and drink, with everything from barista-made coffee and gourmet brunch items to artisan flatbread pizzas, craft beers and hand-crafted cocktails.
And if you’re looking for something different, Pangea is located right on the Village Stroll with a tonne of great restaurants, cafés and bars within easy walking distance.

Rooms
Each pod has its own secluded double bed and privacy curtain. Pods are arranged in suites, which contain Pangea’s innovative bathroom ‘components’ including shower cabins, bathrooms, changing rooms and stand-alone vanities.
Each pod can accommodate up to two guests, though we only recommend sharing for couples. If you’re travelling with friends, having your own private pod will ensure the best experience.
Pod Facilities
The hotel does not have a lift. Pods do require guests to be able to climb steps up to them.
