The Myrkdalen Hotel is the focal point of the resort, most of the resort facilities are centered around the hotel so everything you need is only a short walk away. For the keen skiers and snowboarders, the slopes and lifts are just behind the hotel so you can be first on and off the mountain each day.

Ski in, ski out

Ideally situated at the foot of the mountain, the modern Myrkdalen Hotel offers ski in, ski out access to the Myrkdalen mountain via the Myrkdalsekspressen chairlift which is conveniently located next to the hotel. Head up the mountain and enjoy a variety of cruisy blues, lovely long red runs and a few challenging black slopes. If you want to continue skiing in the evening, the slopes just behind the hotel are lit up three nights a week so you can get even more ski time in.

Food and drink

Saltos Lobby Bar on the first floor of the hotel is a lovely spot to unwind with a drink or two before dinner, with cosy seating, a fireplace and large windows overlooking the resort. The food here is not to be missed, half board meals are served at the modern Restaurant Nuten - the menu features locally sourced ingredients inspired by the natural surroundings and with views to the slopes and surrounding mountains it is the perfect spot for dinner. During your stay you have the opportunity to dine in the two other restaurants once per week - choose between the cosy Nuten Fondue restaurant which serves classic fondue with a variety of meats, bread and vegetables or opt for a tasty stone baked pizza in Restaurant Tunet.
