Overview - apartment description - Linna Apartments description

Be one of the first to enjoy a home-from-home in the brand new Linna Apartments, completed in December 2017.

Location was a key focus when the apartments were being planned, and they certainly chose a great one. They’re right next to the family slope, with ski-in, ski-out access. It’s also just a 15-minute walk or short taxi ride down to the centre of Pyhä and to the nearest supermarket, so you can stock up for the week ahead.

There are several studios and apartments to choose from, the largest of which can sleep up to nine people. They’re contemporary and stylish throughout, with a full kitchen to make cooking a breeze. If you’re spending the evening in, you can curl up in front of a DVD or unwind in your own private sauna.

Please note:

There's no rep based in Pyhä, but support is available 24/7 by phone, email or Twitter.

This package holiday to Linna Apartments in Pyha, Finland / Lapland departs Sunday 5th January 2020, for a 7 night stay on a "self catering" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. Rubbing shoulders with the spectacular Pyhä-Luosto national park, Pyha has everything you’d expect of a classic Lappish resort: cosy log cabins, snowy pine forests and a chance to enjoy a reindeer safari or traditional sauna-ice swimming session. Lovely Pyhä is an authentic Lappish resort on the south east corner of the beautiful Pyhä–Luosto National Park. Famous for its dense pine forests, frozen lakes and waterfalls, as well as being a top spot to see the northern lights, the area is sacred to the Lappish people - ’Pyhä’ (pronounced ‘poo-ha’) translates to ‘holy hill’. Lousto is another small ski resort located to the north of the park. The two ski areas aren’t connected but Lousto is worth visiting for its famous Amethyst mine. This wi...
The area is ideal for beginners, with confidence-boosting blues and a handful of special, kid-friendly ‘Rosa & Rudolph’ blue run adventure routes. The family slopes just above the centre of the village is the spot to start; the ‘2 Blue’ is a great long and easy blue to get to grips with. The Kids’ Ski Area is ideal for tiny tot fun-learning in a safe and secure environment with lots of snow fun and the adjacent Junior SnowPark gives older kids hours of fun. Although less well known for its intermediate s...
Pyhä’s nightlife is friendly and fun – there are a handful of bars but no clubs or discos (Ruka might be your answer if you want the best of Finnish après). Ski Bistro often has live music or you can try out the unusual Ice Bar which is always busy but it’s the Carlsberg House on the Polar slope that’s the official hotspot for après ski. It’s the place to go after the slopes with their priority being to keep everyone hydrated and on good form with cheap drinks deals and loud music till the early hours. ...
