Hotel Somont has a great ski-in/ ski out location and only 300 metres from the centre of Selva. It's run by the friendly Rudiferia family who'll go out of their way to make sure you have a relaxing stay. A lot of effort's been put into the spa. Head to pool, which is heated to a lovely 31 degrees for a bit of relaxation after a day on the slopes. There's a few saunas to choose from, too.
Rooms are a modern Alpine style and every one is unique. We love the homely touches here and the detail that's gone into the décor. It's really cosy and atmospheric. The food is something to look forward to, too. They serve four courses every evening and use the freshest ingredients possible from the local area. Wash it all down with a bottle of local wine - the staff will be happy to make recommendations.
Transfer time: approx. 3 hours by coach from Innsbruck airport.
