· in the resort centre · 1 minute's walk to the railway station · 1 minute's walk to the ski school meeting point
The Silberhorn is the perfect pick if you’re looking for a central base in Wengen – it's just 1 minute on foot to the railway station and 2 minutes to the ski school meeting point.
The facilities are top-notch too. The highlight is the spa, which has floor-to-ceiling windows so you can enjoy views of the Jungfrau mountain from the hot tub, sauna and loungers. Elsewhere, there's open-plan communal areas where you can relax and catch up at the end of the day. When it comes to the rooms, things are spacious and decorated in warm creams, oranges and yellows. And if you just can't get enough of the Jungfrau views, go for a south-facing room and wake up to the snowy summit every morning.
Your hot and cold buffet breakfast's included, so fuelling up for each day in the mountains is easy. And if you upgrade to half board, you can look forward to a 5-course buffet evening meal later on. In the evenings, you can head to the rustic Bar Anonymous if you fancy an tipple or two.

Wengen lies on a sunny shelf beneath some of the most recognisable mountains in the Alps - the north face of the Eiger, the Jungfrau and the Schilthorn. The fantastic skiing isn’t the only reason this picturesque resort has seen returning visitors (James Bond included) for centuries: excellent restaurants, exciting excursions, abundant activities and fascinating history are also massive draws.
