The Hotel Punta Maquignaz is central in Cervinia just 100 metres from the Cretaz chairlifts. There's a really cosy feel in the hotel with Alpine features and wood-panneled rooms. You'll get the family-run feel while you're here, they even have some of their own art hanging on the walls.
A classic Italian breakfast is served in the restaurant in the mornings. Upgrade to half-board and dine in the hotel's restaurant, where they specialise in local cuisine. Or if you choose to go for bed and breakfast you'll be in prime location to enjoy Cervinia's many restaurants.
The open fire in the lounge is lovely to come back to after a long day of skiing, it's a nice spot to catch up on the days events with a drink from the bar. There's also a spa area, which is included in the hotel price. We loved using the sauna to ease off those aching muscles. Or why not treat yourself to a massage? They can be booked and paid for locally.
