Overview - hotel description - Hotel Marmore description

The Marmore is a pretty historic hotel in Cervinia. It first opened over 60 years ago as a small tavern, and in the 1940s only had 9 bedrooms. By the end of the 1950s, the Marmore’s hotel bar and restaurant were the most popular in town among both tourists and locals. Fast forward to December 2017, and the hotel will open its doors for the first time since 2015. Under new management, it has spent two years undergoing a complete transformation to make it more modern, while retaining its traditional charm.

Located on the main street in Cervinia, the hotel is perfectly positioned at the bottom of the mountain, with a short walk to the nearest lift. What's more, you can even ski all the way back to the hotel at the end of the day.

The hotel is home to a popular bar and restaurant. The Ristorante Angelo is famous for its locally produced Italian foods – think antipasti, glorious pastas and pizzas cooked in a wood oven – and wines from Aosta and Piemonte. The lively bar is also known for its great drinks selection and, this winter, you can turn up and enjoy a plethora of live music. With such good food and drink, you might not want to venture too far, but if you do feel like exploring, then you’ll also find a selection of places to eat nearby.

The bedrooms are quite special, too. They all face the impressive mountains that surround the village, have bathrooms moulded out of marble and ceramic, and even come with a pillow menu – so it's almost guaranteed that you’ll sleep like a king.
