Great food, excellent service and friendly atmosphere are just a few of the things customers say about the Hotel Lipa - and for very good reason.
There are only eleven rooms at the Lipa so, unlike larger hotels, you'll get a really personal experience. The rooms are modern in style, immaculately clean and very comfortable.
It's a family-run business, and you'll feel welcomed into the fold very quickly. The team here are more than happy to share their local knowledge and help you work out the best routes for a day out on the mountain. Tea and coffee-making facilities are provided in the rooms so you can grab yourself a warming cuppa once you return from the slopes.
The Lipa is regarded by many as having the best restaurant in town - it offers delicious handmade pizza and Slovenian dishes, and will happily accommodate vegetarian diets. Your evening meals are taken in the hotel's basement restaurant or the winter garden.
Being a little out from Kranjska Gora's centre has it's advantages, and the hotel is very peaceful at night. The walk to the slopes takes around 5-10 minutes, and you don't have to drag your gear with you - you can rent heated ski lockers by the lifts.

· hot and cold buffet breakfast · 3-course evening meals with choice of main course with daily salad buffet (taken in the basement restaurant or winter garden)
All rooms have a cable TV, safe, hairdryer, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, and are non-smoking.
Twin room - sleeps 1-2: Austrian twin beds, private shower, WC and balcony.
Twin room - sleeps 2-3: Austrian twin beds, single sofa bed, private shower, WC and balcony.
Suite - sleeps 4: Two separate bedrooms (either with two sets of Austrian twin beds or one set of Austrian twins and one set of bunk beds), living area, private shower, WC and balcony.
Austrian twin beds
Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head to head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.
•Family fun •Easy Skiing •Beautiful scenery
Endearing architecture joins beautiful lakes, Limestone Mountains and far-ranging rivers here near the meeting of the Italian, Austrian and Slovenian Alps, but Kransjka’s much more than a pretty face. You’ll also find a world championship slalom and one of the world’s first ski jumps to pit yourself against, while terrific tuition and forgiving slopes make this a solid choice for a first time trip with the brood.
