The Schieder family have created a lovely relaxing and informal setting at the Hotel Dolomiti Madonna. The family and their staff are attentive, helpful and on hand for anything you needed to ensure you have a fantastic holiday.
To get going on the mountain is nice and easy, the moving staircase to the Seceda lift is only a 200 metres away or you can use the bus for free which goes all around the Val Gardena area, perfect if you want to start at a different point or need to get back if you have been skiing elsewhere during the day. The hotel itself is located in the centre of Ortisei and with everything you need not far from your doorstep, such as the local supermarket. Don't indulge too much however as in the evenings you can enjoy the homely regional flavours served at the four course evening meal.
If your ski legs need a breather in the week, you can use the indoor pool, whirlpool and steam baths for free at the Mardolomiti swimming baths. Free for hotel guests and a short 200 metres walk. Overall a super convenient location, lovely traditional dining and a great value three star.

•Amazing scenery •Charming village •Italian & Austrian influence
We love the mix of Austrian and Italian influence that you find throughout Ortisei. It’s the main town in the amazing Val Gardena and famous for its pastel coloured buildings, it’s also the prettiest. Ski blissfully uncrowded slopes in the presence of the craggy Dolomite peaks and round the day off with the food and wine that Italy does so well.
Great for •Families •Après ski •Groups
