Overview - hotel description - Hotel Dolomiti - Canazei description

The Hapsburg style Hotel Dolomiti is packed with history. It’s a striking sight with its distinctive architecture. It was one of the first hotels in Canazei, built in prime position in the centre of the resort. Step inside and back in time to find beautiful vaulted ceilings and fine furnishings that stay true to the hotel's original old world charm. Look out for the picture in the entrance hall where you can see what it looked like before anything else was built in the town. It’s a traditional and lively hotel, and just 500 metres from the main Belvedere gondola, which links you up to some fantastic skiing and directly joins onto the Sellaronda circuit. There’s a resort bus stop just outside the hotel if you don’t fancy the walk (payable locally).

The wellness center provides a lovely finish to days spent skiing. Try the eucalyptus steam room or the dry sauna to ease any built up muscle tension. Loose the ski gear and get ready for dinner. In the restaurant there’s a good choice of antipasti, primo and secondo piatti, and of course lots of delicious desserts. There’s also the Kaisertube, the pizzeria-come-pub, connected to the hotel via an internal corridor. They offer a 10% discount on the menu prices for guests. It's a great spot for lunch! The hotel provide free afternoon cakesand savoury snacks too, which are served in here between 4pm and 5pm.

When it comes to a restful night’s sleep, the Classic Rooms are comfortable, simply furnished, and have all you’ll need during your holiday. However, upgrade to the more spacious prestige rooms, and you’ll find a more luxurious space, complete with a hydro massage bathtub or shower.

Transfer time: approx. 2 hour 45 mins by coach from Innsbruck airport.
