This package holiday to Hotel Breuil in Cervinia, Italy departs Sunday 17th December 2017, for a 7 night stay on a "half board" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 15/16 was between 50p and £2 per person, per night.

"Good hotel but further from the lifts than you might expect"

The hotel was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was nice, it was standard Italian food. There were 2 choices and then a veggie option each evening. The room was fine, adequate for our needs. The description of the hotel’s location is slightly misleading, it claims to be very close to the lifts, but in reality we found that it probably takes 10 to 15 minutes to walk in ski boots. Also the walk up to the main lift is treacherous! I wouldn’t even attempt it in ski boots, it’s up a very steep hill. Another point worth noting is that the ski room in the hotel isn’t very well sign posted and you actually have to go out and through the garage to get to it – this wasn’t a problem though.
