Family run for over 50 years, the Bellavista’s got bags of traditional charm. As you walk through, you’ll spot hand-painted grapevines climbing the walls and lots of carvings dotting the wood panelling. The rooms have pops of red from the carpet to the curtains for that alpine look, and you can step out onto your private balcony to take in all that snowy scenery.

When you’re ready to hit the slopes, it’s a short walk over to the ski bus stop, and around a 5-minute ride to the foot of the main gondola. Then, it's up and away to start your ski day. In your après-ski hours, you can snuggle up in the hotel’s bar by the stube, a traditional fireplace that makes the room feel toasty. If wine’s your drink of choice, they’ve got plenty of bottles from nearby vineyards to fill your cup.

Local ingredients are a big part of the meals here too – from homemade jams with your breakfast to garden-grown veggies in your evening meal. The morning buffet spread is stocked with all the staples plus sweet treats like pastries and pancakes, and sausages, eggs and bacon to pile your plate with. And in the evenings, you’ll get three courses of well-loved recipes from the region.
