The Hotel Baranci has been in the Zingerle family for over 30 years. And while it’s gone through a full renovation more recently, they pride themselves in retaining their warm and welcoming family atmosphere.

You’re just a 5 minutes’ stroll to the historic centre and pedestrianised area of San Candido with a selection of shops and trendy bars. And getting onto the slopes couldn’t be easier – it’s a 4-minute walk or hop on the free ski bus that’s just 10m from the hotel.

After a day of skiing, unwind in the hotel’s wellness area. There’s a sauna, steam room and hot tub – open until 8pm – for relaxing any aching muscles. Or treat yourself to a massage or beauty treatment for a little extra. Also in the hotel, there’s a cosy hotel bar and lounge with weekly live music, while the kids play in the games room with a range of toys and activities.

As part of the renovations, the rooms are now modern and bright spaces, with wooden floors and contemporary details. Decorated in neutral colours with bursts of red to brighten things up, there’s plenty of space for a comfortable stay. And each room has bathrobes and slippers for added comfort and room service is available at an extra charge if you don’t fancy an early start.

When it comes to dining, The Hotel Baranci is well known for its top-notch cuisine. Start the day with a varied hot and cold buffet breakfast. And in the evenings, head chef Luciano Puicher and his team create a menu of regional South Tyrolian and Italian specialities for your 3-course meal.
