Hotel Alpen Resort & Spa Summary

This modern yet homely hotel is just a short walk from the centre of Zermatt, as well as the Gornergrat Mountain Railway and the ski bus stop. The rooms are sleek and spacious, with wood floors and Matterhorn-inspired art – and some even have views of the Matterhorn itself.

When you're not skiing, you can make the most of the sumptuous spa, which has an indoor pool with jet areas, steam room, sauna and outdoor hot tub. The hotel caters well for kids too, with a large games room and children's play pool.
