Overlooking the Geilo valley are the Havsdalsgrenda Apartments – luxury, self-catered accommodation in an unbeatable location.

At the top of the mountain, directly on the Havsdalen slopes, these apartments are the very definition of ski-in, ski-out. Just clip on your skis in the morning and slide straight to the lift - or cruise all the way down to Geilo town. If you’d rather drive down, the shuttle bus stops outside daily.

For those who fancy trying something different, there’s also cross-country trails right on your doorstep.

Inside, the apartments are beautiful. Fresh white walls, warm wooden floors and modern furniture instantly make you feel at home. The large kitchens have everything you need for a great self-catering holiday, including a dishwasher. Every apartment also has a living area with flatscreen TV and the larger apartments even have their own private sauna.

Get a fresh start in the morning or relax in the evenings in the indoor pool, which has a lovely view of the mountains. Overlooking the pool is the fitness room and there’s also a sauna and steam room – all of which are free to use. In the reception, there’s a comfy lounge area and coffee bar and, beneath it all, is a huge underground parking garage with direct access to the apartments.

For groups and families, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better place to stay in Geilo.

Established in 1890 the Norwegian ski resort Geilo lies at 800 metres altitude in the Buskerud region of the Norwegian ?. With the highest lifts and ski slopes at 1178m the area is not snow sure. Geilo has a range of mainly outdoor activities although there is a swimming pool and cinema in the village. Ice climbing and ski orienteering are both popular pastimes and you could go on a wilderness camp to experience mountain life as it was in days gone by.
