Overlooking the Geilo valley are the Havsdalsgrenda Apartments – luxury, self-catered accommodation in an unbeatable location.

At the top of the mountain, directly on the Havsdalen slopes, these apartments are the very definition of ski-in, ski-out. Just clip on your skis in the morning and slide straight to the lift - or cruise all the way down to Geilo town.

Inside, the apartments are beautiful. Fresh white walls, warm wooden floors and modern furniture instantly make you feel at home. The large kitchens have everything you need for a great self-catering holiday, including a dishwasher. Every apartment also has a living area with flatscreen TV, and the larger apartments even have their own private sauna.

Get a fresh start in the morning or relax in the evenings in the indoor pool, which has a lovely view of the mountains. Overlooking the pool is the fitness room and there’s also a sauna and steam room – all of which are free to use. In the reception, there’s a comfy lounge area and coffee bar. Beneath it all is a huge underground parking garage, giving direct access to your apartment.

For groups and families, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better place to stay in Geilo.

Separate kids ski areas provide an environment for tots to learn safely away from the crowds, and with different areas linked by a ski bus there’s plenty to explore.
