Full-board meals, winter clothing for your whole stay and an incredible line-up of Arctic adventures are all included in one package, so you can spend less time planning and more time making memories together.
No two days feel the same. Race through snowy forests on a husky sled, head out on a snowmobile adventure, or wrap up warm for an evening aurora walk beneath the stars. In between, there's time to slow down with hearty buffet meals, complimentary tea and coffee in the main restaurant, and cosy moments back at the accommodation before your next adventure.
After a day outdoors, you'll have somewhere warm to come home to. Choose from inviting sauna rooms, complete with your own private sauna to spacious Wilderness rooms ideal for relaxing after a day outdoors. The beautiful Arctic Glass Suites feature a private sauna and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the icy Muonionjoki River - you may even catch a glimpse of the green and red hues of the Northern Lights lighting up the starry night sky.

Enjoy a thrilling selection of arctic excursions included in your holiday package, giving you an action‑packed itinerary perfect for couples, friends, and families. Speed across the enchanting snowy wilderness on a snowmobile adventure or head to the Arctic sled dog centre for an unforgettable husky safari through the frozen forest. You’ll also meet the reindeer at the historic Lapinkartano “Lapland Manor,” adding even more magic to your Lapland experience.
You will receive your personal itinerary on arrival at Harriniva, which may differ from the order of the sample itinerary below.

Day 1 - Arrival & Welcome
Meet you Destination Expert at Kittilä airport and transfer from the airport by coach to your accommodation. Once you arrive, settle into your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, you'll pick up your suits and boots on your first or second day.
Day 2 - Reindeer Safari & Aurora Walk
An unforgettable reindeer farm visit and reindeer sled ride - Meet Rudolph's friends at this 100-year-old Lappish farm and enjoy the wonder of a tranquil reindeer

Day 3 - A Full Day of Activities
Husky sled ride - Meet the excited huskies for a 6km safari. A chance for adults to drive the husky sled whilst small children travel with the guide's sled.
Snow fun winter activities - Test your skills at cross-country skiing, tobogganing, and other fun snow activities.
Lunchtime buffet.
Snowmobile safari, discovering the beautiful landscape of Lapland - Two adults share a snowmobile with children traveling in a sleigh.
Day 4 or 5 - Scenic Transfer & Flight Home
After a magical few days, it’s time to say goodbye to your new friends before being transferred by coach to the airport for your flight home.
If you are staying on a 3 night (4 day) stay then the snowmobile and Christmas dinner are on Day 4 and departures on Day 5.

All participants must sign a waiver before taking part in activities.
Snowmobile Safari
Drivers must be 18+ years with a valid physical driving license.
Shared snowmobiles as standard; single upgrade available locally (approx. 32€), free for single parents.
Minimum passenger age: 15 years, minimum height 140 cm.
Children under 15 ride in a guide-pulled sleigh (heating not guaranteed).
Optional excess reduction available (approx. 16€, reduces liability to 400€).
Approx. 20 km track, continuous loop with driver swap option halfway.
Husky Safari
Drivers must be 18+ years.
Sleds typically carry 2 adults (age 12+), and drivers can swap halfway.
Children under 12 ride with guides (5–6 per guide sled).
In cold weather, younger children may complete a shorter loop and supervised indoor activities.
Reindeer Safari
Approx. 1 km ride; sleighs hold up to 2 adults and 2 children.
Sleighs travel in a line, led by a Sami guide (guests hold rope but do not control reindeer).
Visit includes Lapinkartano Sami Museum, cultural talk and lunch.

Meals are often made with local Finnish and regional produce. Each morning, you can enjoy a varied breakfast buffet with an assortment of hot and cold options. Lunch will be provided in the main restaurant or while you're out taking part in your included activities. In the evening, you can enjoy a three-course meal, often combining modern flavours with a Lappish twist. Plus, one evening, you'll have a special Finnish Christmas dinner.
Your first meal will be dinner on arrival day, and your last meal will be breakfast on departure day.
There is complimentary coffee and tea offered in the hotel's main restaurant throughout the opening hours.
A wristband is available to purchase locally for children aged 12 and under, providing access to soda drinks throughout their stay. The cost is approximately €21 per child for a 3-night stay and €28 per child for a 4-night stay (subject to change).

Standard twin rooms are cosy-log style rooms, and sleep up to four people with twin beds, plus a single or bunk beds. These rooms are available for single use on selected dates, please call to book.
Sauna rooms sleep up to four people in a cosy cabin style room. These rooms have a room with a double bed, and an open plan seating area with a sofa bed - suitable for one adult or two children. These rooms also have a private sauna.
Wilderness rooms sleep up to five people in a duplex-style apartment. They have a double bed on the mezzanine level. On the lower level there's a sofa bed - suitable for two adults or three children. These rooms also have ecological Finnish hair and body products.
Some Wilderness rooms can accommodate two additional single beds in the mezzanine area to sleep up to seven people. Please request this at the time of booking.
Arctic glass suites sleep up to four people, with a double bed and a double sofa bed. Each suite has a cosy seating area with a dining table, an ensuite bathroom with shower, and your own private sauna. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out across the Muonionjoki River, so you can enjoy the snowy scenery from the warmth of your room. For added convenience, each suite is equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, and tea and coffee making facilities.
