· ski-in, ski-out on an access road that leads to a green run · 8 minutes' walk to the Hotellheisen lift · 8 minutes' walk to the ski school meeting point · 5 minutes' walk to the supermarket · 10 minutes' walk to the closest après bar
The Gudbrandsgard Cabins may look traditionally Norwegian on the outside – with their black-painted wooden boards, red doors and snow-capped roofs – but they’re bang up to date inside, just the thing for a stylish self-catering stay. And even better, you can step outside and click straight into your skis to swoosh down to the lift.
Each cabin’s spread over two floors and has four bedrooms so everyone gets their own space. They’re done up with neutral colours, comfy sofas and tartan cushions and curtains to give them a modern-meets-cosy feel.
The kitchen has all the mod-cons so you can whip up a meal for the whole group and then gather round the dining table to eat and catch up about your adventures. Then flop on the sofas in the living room to round off the day by watching a film or playing some board games.
