The GRAND HOTEL ZERMATTERHOF is located in the heart of Zermatt/ set back in a private park/ in a quiet location yet on the main street/ where all boutiques and sport shops/ ski school/ mountain guide office and banks are to be found. Zermatt does not allow any motor vehicles.The Grand Hotel Zermatterhof - situated in the heart of Zermatt - has been extending a warm and hospitable welcome to guests ever since it first opened in 1879. And the restaurant terrace two bars and hotel garden are perfect for receptions. The hotel has more than 81 individually furnished rooms and suites with magnificent views of the mountains promising both peace and space in an exclusive setting. And for the ultimate in luxury guests can avail themselves of the hotel s new wellness zone Vita borni. Here you can experience an atmosphere of cultivated wellbeing with a spacious pool- saunascape- treatment rooms and a private spa for couples. The hotel also has five rooms for banquets and conferences for between five and 300 people - these rooms are all fully air-conditioned - have daylight and black-out blinds and are equipped with cutting-edge communications equipment.
