The Experimental Chalet is a stylish Alpine retreat, located just a three minute walk from the main square, and 10 minutes from the Verbier TV gondola, which can also be reached via resort bus, the stop is located right outside the hotel.
Perched among the snow-capped summits of Verbier, it offers a selection of 39 rooms and suites, some with terrace, jacuzzi, or panoramic views of the surrounding Alpine peaks and Mont Blanc.
Breakfast is given special care, with house-made granolas, sweet and savory cakes, waffles, egg dishes, fresh juices, and a full complement of pastries. At the Chalet restaurant, Gregory Marchand of Frenchie, one of Paris's and London's most sought-after chefs, freshens up mountain food with contemporary flair. For families, the menu offers a selection of freshly made dishes with kids in mind, as well as a selection of sharable dishes to encourage conviviality. There is even an afternoon snack hour with treats to please any age, and round-the-clock bar snacks so guests can pop in anytime.
Situated on the first floor, next to the reception hall's roaring fire, is the bar. Serving their signature craft cocktails and an expert selection of wines and spirits, it is an ideal hideaway for “après-ski” get-togethers, pre-dinner apéritifs or as the launchpad for a late night. You can continue the evening by going downstairs to the Farm Club, a legendary hot spot that has set the rhythm of Verbier after dark for over 45 years.
The Experimental Chalet Spa is a veritable haven of relaxation. Situated on the ground floor of the hotel it includes three treatment rooms, a hamam, a Jacuzzi and a 50m2 solarium.

Established in 1937, posh party town Verbier covers a sunny plateau slap bang in the middle of Switzerland’s 4 valleys – which just happens to be one of Europe’s biggest and best ski areas. The easy-on-the-eye architecture’s a pretty mix of wood and slate, but it’s what you’ll find within some of these walls that’ll blow your socks off… Blending in with dozens of classic chalets and ski hotels, this place has some of the most luxurious lodgings on the planet. Some hotels come with designer suites an...
Besides being famous for its off-piste routes, Verbier’s well groomed slopes are well known as some of the most challenging in the Alps. Although it mainly attracts intermediate, advanced and expert level skiers seeking adventurous off-piste and steeps experience, the 37 local pistes covering 100km provide for all abilities. The resort has three areas specifically for beginners, including the gentle slopes at Les Moulins, which has a children’s area and Les Esserts, with its 120m magic carpet. Those with a b...
Many say Verbier’s après is the main reason to visit – it’s certainly some of the best in the world and if you want to increase the odds of bumping into Prince Harry or Leonardo di Caprio on the dance floor, there’s no better place to party. From a good old pint in a lively pub (we love Nelson’s and Pub Mont Fort) to swanky cocktails with the socialites at Cordee de Alps, the nightlife is wonderfully varied. An absolute legend is the Farinet - with a huge sliding roof, a commanding position over the mai...
