With stunning views of Mount Sahoro, Club Med Sahoro Hokkaido promises perfect powder snow and fun-filled family experiences. Set in a large ski domain with a snow park and gondola, this all-inclusive family ski resort in north Japan is perfect for skiers of all levels looking to immerse themselves in Japanese culture and cuisine. Relax in the Japanese mountains with horse riding, skiing and snow trekking. Play with the kids in our indoor pool or host friends in your traditional tatami mat lounge. Then enjoy world-famous Japanese hospitality and refinement as you share a steaming pot of nabe.


WHAT’S INCLUDED

Accommodation & Transport

It's all included in the price accommodation at our resorts and you have the option to book your flights with us. If you decide to book your package with flights then direct transfers to and from the resort to the airport is included in the price therefore less stress and money trying to organise transfers.

Gourmet cuisine and open bar

When it comes to meals, our all-inclusive deals include delicious cuisine, including speciality restaurants with waiter service. Enjoy a glass of wine, beer or soft drinks with your meal. Including an open bar which offers a range of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages – it’s all included in the price.

Lessons & mountain guide

All our Club Med ski resorts offer ski lessons for beginners and mountain guides for the more experienced skiers with professional english speaking instructors. Groups are arranged according to the different levels beginner, intermediate or advanced for both Skiing and snowboarding.

Ski pass & Ski equipment*

When you book a 7 night package with Club Med your ski pass is included and available at reception on your arrival. Therefore no time to waste and get skiing straight away. Rent your equipment, at an extra cost, with ski rooms and heated locker rooms available to store your ski & snowboard equipment.

Kids Clubs & Childcare

At Club Med we aim to make it an unforgettable ski experience for families. Our professional staff at our Kids Clubs will help make sure children enjoy every second of their holiday... Families - any extra notes for parents with children

In winter, the slopes of Mount Sahoro are enveloped in a soft blanket of snow, bringing joy to every family. At Petit Club Med, 2 and 3 year olds discover all the delights the wintery mountains have to offer. At Mini Club Med, children from 4 to 10 gain confidence on the slopes. They'll have stars in their eyes when the medals are handed out. The teenagers at Junior Club Med have action-packed days, with skiing or snowboarding, socialising and nurturing their creativity. Feel on top of the world, together.

RESTAURANTS

The Daichi

Savour a variety of delicacies. With an emphasis on Asian flavours, sample from a selection of fresh-caught sashimi, sushi, and chirashi prepared by skilled Japanese Chefs who use traditional methods. You can also watch as energised live cooking stations showcase Chefs preparing each dish, including handmade soba, ramen, and udon noodles.

This recently expanded restaurant takes its inspiration from mountain views and the forms and shapes of origami, representing longevity and good luck. Wrapped in glass with nature in every direction, dining here is an immersive Hokkaido winter experience.

For added convenience, a Baby Corner will offer sweet and savoury baby foods, equipment to prepare babies' meals, and high chairs or booster cushions. Spare pushchairs are also available upon request.


Mina Mina

Your family will love this must-try dining experience. Our Mina Mina specialty restaurant prepares a traditional nabemono, or nabe, soup served in a heated pot right at the table. Choose from your favourite ingredients including meat, crab plate, seafood plate, and vegetables. Then, just add or dip one by one to customise your meal.

BARS

The Wakka

Wakka bar is for winding down. Take in in wintery mountain views through expansive bay windows while enjoying a bite to eat and a drink at our cosy bar. Open all day and centrally located, Wakka is a prime place to warm up over cocktails, gather to celebrate the day’s successes after our G.O show, or just reconnect as a family. In the evenings, enjoy sake, whisky, or sip a hot chocolate or tea to toast to your Hokkaido travels together.

The best bars can be found as part of the local hotels, which tend to put on their own evening entertainment. On previous years, we’ve enjoyed the Wakka Bar in the Club Med hotel which has stunning views over the surrounding mountains, transforming into a nightclub from 11pm-2am for night owls.
