Charlevoix is a cultural and natural region located in Quebec, on the north shore of the Saint Lawrence River as well as in the Laurentian Mountains area of the Canadian Shield. This dramatic landscape includes rolling terrain, fjords, headlands and bays; the region was designated a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1989.
The region was named after Pierre François-Xavier de Charlevoix, a French Jesuit explorer and historian who travelled through the area in the 18th century.

The mountain is enveloped in majestic silence, energising you with each step as you follow your guide's tracks. You can also join a guide for Nordic walking outings, where your poles mark out a rhythm.

If you prefer to experience the mountain other than on skis, enjoy a trekking programme.
Mostly on snowshoes, and sometimes with other disciplines such as nordic walking or hiking, these treks are supervised by mountain guides who will take you to areas away from the ski slopes.

Ski

The Massif de Charlevoix is a truly amazing ski area with pistes overlooking the St Lawrence River. Skiing amongst the pine trees with the legendary Quebecois river below is a unique experience. Skiing in and skiing out of the Resort is also an advantage that's not to be overlooked. Skis on, ready, get set, go!

Supervision : Professional instructors, who are perfectly familiar with the ski domain, will guide you over the slopes best suited to your level of skill, to ensure you progress safely but surely in the best possible conditions, in small groups of 12 people maximum.
