Chalet Petheo Summary

Beautiful alpine chalet in a private location with stunning mountain views, an outdoor hot tub and a steam room.

This luxurious chalet is perfect for a family looking for an amazing ski getaway in Verbier. Located on the Savoleyres side, a short drive from both Carrefour and the Savoleyres gondola, this five-bedroom chalet offers breathtaking views of the Verbier ski area and the town below. The chalet features wood panelling throughout, adding to that traditional alpine feeling.

You enter the chalet into a beautifully open-plan living area, thoughtfully divided into a kitchen, dining space, and living room. At the heart of the dining area is a large wooden table seating 12, the perfect place to gather, whether you're enjoying a leisurely breakfast or watching the chef whip up a feast in the kitchen.

The modern kitchen is a chef’s dream, featuring a spacious island, high-spec appliances, and even a wine fridge, ideal for effortless entertaining. At the far end of this floor, a partial wall subtly separates the living room, creating a cosy, intimate space. Here, large, plush sofas are arranged around a wood-burning fireplace and a TV, offering a snug setting to unwind with loved ones after reclining from the dinner table.

Floor-to-ceiling French doors frame the entire space, flooding it with natural light and opening out onto a large wraparound terrace that spans the length of the chalet. With sweeping views over Verbier and the mountains beyond, it’s a stunning spot to bask in the morning alpine sun or watch the sunset over the mountains. Also on this floor is a serene study with a sliding door, offering mountain views and direct access to the terrace, an inspiring space for reading, writing, or simply enjoying a quiet moment to yourself.

Going upstairs, you enter the primary bedroom at the top of the chalet. Featuring wood panelling throughout, creating a cosy alpine haven with views over the Verbier valley below. The bathroom features double sinks, a separate toilet and shower area, featuring a rainfall shower.

The main sleeping floor, located on the lowest level of the chalet, features four inviting bedrooms designed with comfort and mountain tranquillity in mind. The first is a beautifully appointed double bedroom, offering direct access to the outdoors through large French doors that frame picturesque views of the surrounding peaks. Its en-suite bathroom includes a shower and toilet, making it a peaceful, private retreat.

Adjacent to this bedroom is a utility room, complete with a washing machine and dryer, and a ski area with a boot warmer and coat-hanging space. This area can also be accessed through an external door via steps down from the main chalet entrance, the best way to enter the chalet when you are still in ski boots!

The second bedroom on this floor is a bunk room for the children. Featuring a quad bunk, these beds are strictly for children only. A French door provides natural light and access to the outside, and the room includes ample wardrobe space. This bedroom has a separate, external WC, featuring a toilet and sink, which is next door. As there is no shower or bath in this room, guests will need to share bathroom facilities with another bedroom.

The third bedroom on this level is another serene double bedroom, enhanced by a stunning floor-to-ceiling Frecnh door that showcases sweeping mountain views and provides outside access. This room benefits from its own en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. At the end of this floor a sliding door separates the space, creating a cosy TV snug - of which images are coming soon. On the left the fourth and final bedroom comes off this space a similarly styled double, also with an en-suite featuring a shower and toilet and fabulous French door with access to the outside.

Also on this floor is a steam room with a separate rain shower with a sliding door to allow for privacy and a door leading directly outside to the hot tub. The outdoor hot tub is thoughtfully positioned for privacy, with surrounding trees providing a serene spot. Whether you're soaking tired muscles after a day on the slopes or simply unwinding under the stars, it’s the perfect place to reconnect with nature and take in the breathtaking mountain views.

Chalet Petheo is a beautiful mountain retreat, in a private location, immersed in the alpine landscape with breathtaking views, a spacious wrap-around terrace, and excellent facilities. Chalet Petheo benefits from two parking spaces and is reached via several steps down to the chalet, so direct vehicle access is not possible.

Established in 1937, posh party town Verbier covers a sunny plateau slap bang in the middle of Switzerland’s 4 valleys – which just happens to be one of Europe’s biggest and best ski areas. The easy-on-the-eye architecture’s a pretty mix of wood and slate, but it’s what you’ll find within some of these walls that’ll blow your socks off… Blending in with dozens of classic chalets and ski hotels, this place has some of the most luxurious lodgings on the planet. Some hotels come with designer suites an...
Besides being famous for its off-piste routes, Verbier’s well groomed slopes are well known as some of the most challenging in the Alps. Although it mainly attracts intermediate, advanced and expert level skiers seeking adventurous off-piste and steeps experience, the 37 local pistes covering 100km provide for all abilities. The resort has three areas specifically for beginners, including the gentle slopes at Les Moulins, which has a children’s area and Les Esserts, with its 120m magic carpet. Those with a b...
Many say Verbier’s après is the main reason to visit – it’s certainly some of the best in the world and if you want to increase the odds of bumping into Prince Harry or Leonardo di Caprio on the dance floor, there’s no better place to party. From a good old pint in a lively pub (we love Nelson’s and Pub Mont Fort) to swanky cocktails with the socialites at Cordee de Alps, the nightlife is wonderfully varied. An absolute legend is the Farinet - with a huge sliding roof, a commanding position over the mai...
