Chalet Mont Gele (sleeps 30-33). Chalet/Hotel Mont Gele is one of our most recent and exciting additions to our Verbier programme.

Boasting possibly the best position in Verbier, it is situated just a few meters above the main Medran lift which leads in to the whole Four Valleys ski circuit. It is a lovely freestanding, albeit a little old-fashioned, chalet which has everything that one could wish for when looking for great value in a superb location. The bedrooms are all with ensuite or private facilities, many have their own balconies and there is a lovely living room and traditional dining room.

You can ski right to and from the door and yet the resort centre is literally just a few minutes walk away. Closest bars and restaurants would be the famous Fer a Cheval and Offshore and for those looking for something a little more swanky, how about the recently built W Hotel with its Wellness Centre and very own nightclub, bars and restaurants.

Mont Gele is available to book on either a full week or short break stay (3 nights minimum) and catering is offered on 6 out of 7 nights of the week. Therefore it truly does offer guests access to this fantastic ski resort at affordable rates and we have no doubt it will prove a hugely popular part of our programme this season.

Guests will be warmly welcomed to this wonderful chalet by our friendly team of staff, some of which live at the top of the building.

Did You Know... The Mont Gele is named after perhaps the most extreme peak in Verbier which hosts many a mad competition throughout the season - to watch the vertical descents of those braver than any of us, really is a sight not to be missed!

We offer our properties on a flexible catering basis therefore providing our guests with as much choice as possible when choosing a fully-catered, part-catered or self-catered chalet or apartment. Your preferences will be discussed at the time of booking and a tailor-made itinerary will be costed based on your requirements.

Our chalet hosts all enjoy cooking and take pride in what they serve and whilst they are not necessarily qualified chefs, they have good experience of dinner party cooking and many of them will have attended one of the well-regarded cookery schools with whom we work closely to ensure the highest calibre of staff possible.

If choosing the fully catered or part catered option, you will be assured of good home-cooked food prepared and served by our specially selected chalet hosts. We do not offer luxury items or haute cuisine, we serve good wholesome hearty food fit for anyone after a hard day on the slopes. Menus will be varied and may include local dishes as well as the more traditional UK favourites such as roasts, lasagne or casseroles.

Our menus have been formed over many years taking into account previous guests’ likes and recommendations and whilst we believe this plan to offer excellent variety, there will be the odd occasion when a dish might not be well-received. We would ask you therefore that if you have any specific dietary requirements or a yearning for dishes in particular, you enquire before booking your holiday and provide us with as much notice as possible regarding specific diets such as vegetarian, vegan, celiac or non-dairy etc.
