Beginners will find the nursery slopes at the foot of the Clotes chair, and the lift takes you to the main ski area at Sportina where lessons also take place. You don't have to conquer the lift process before even having the snow under your skis - regular shuttle buses provide an easy ride for beginners to get out on to the piste. "Well located, lovely breakfasts"

Nicole, Leeds
5/ out of 5
The Faure has a great location in the old town, right above a really good wine bar. We just had a B&B booking and the continental breakfasts were really good, with lovely fresh pastries and local cheeses. They’re associated with a nearby restaurant if you want to book full board, they say it’s one of the best in Sauze d’Oulx and everyone in the hotel was saying how gorgeous the food was. We went there for dinner one night and it was superb! Our room was a double en-suite and had everything we needed. We tended to walk about 10-15 minutes to get to the slopes, it was quite uphill which made for good aerobic training! We were walking in snowboard boots so it wasn’t too bad. Would definitely go back.
