The Alpen Village Hotel is actually a well-connected complex made up of seven different chalet-style buildings, perfectly situated next to the Teola chairlift and the bustling Mottolino slopes. It's gone through some extensive renovations over the last couple of years and it's really upped the luxury factor.
The wellness area is particularly enticing with an indoor swimming pool, indoor and outdoor saunas and an amazing fitness room. Once you've finished having a soak and a swim, check out the in-house restaurant which offers up a huge range of Italian, Valtellina and local Livigno specialties like homemade pasta and cakes, as well as over 250 (yes, 250) wines!
The hotel has a lot to offer families, starting with the free hotel-run mini and junior clubs for kids aged four to eight and nine to 12. The clubs run from 9.30am to 12pm, 3pm to 6.30pm and, unlike most clubs, they also run in the evenings from 8.30 to 10pm so parents can have a little holiday date night!
The hotel's entertainment team also organise daily activities and shows at scheduled (day)times throughout the week. Kids will also love the bright and bustling playroom, with a huge array of toys and games and even an entire games room to keep them occupied. It's a very family friendly place.

As you're on holiday, why not book in for a sports or relaxing massage. There are also beauty treatments and even a private spa for couples wanting to relax in private.
You can expect a fantastic spread with your half board meals. The continental breakfast buffet is substantial and helps you get ready for the slopes. Your evening meal is a three-course buffet with a choice of regionally inspired mains according to whatever you fancy. Christmas and New Year meals are included as well.
The newly renovated rooms at the Alpen Village hotel are bright and contemporary with calming whites broken up by cheerful splashes of colour. The 160 rooms come in one standard size which sleep two, three or four people, with twin or double rooms, some with a third and/or fourth bed. They all have 32” satellite LED TV and Wi-Fi. Some of the rooms also have a balcony for taking in those stunning mountain views.

Livigno’s fast climbing the ladder of Europe’s favourite resorts... and rightly so. We love the snow sure skiing, world class terrain parks and tax-free pricetag of après and shopping, not to mention the mountain charm you’d expect from a resort rubbing shoulders with St Moritz and the delectable food you’d expect anywhere in Italy.
