The Alpen Hotel Eghel's sets you up for easy ski days. You can cruise back along the Costa slope when you're done, and the Costa lift is about an 8-minute walk away – along with the ski school meeting point and nursery slopes. There's also a ski bus stop right outside if you'd rather ride. Folgaria's centre is around 16 minutes on foot when you fancy exploring.

After a day on the mountain, the Eghel Spa's there for some downtime – with a sauna and steam room, plus massages and beauty treatments you can book. There's a fitness room too if you want to stay active, or you can grab a drink at the bar, relax in the lounge or head out to the sun terrace. Rooms keep things simple with a TV, free WiFi, phone, safe, fridge and hairdryer.

Your half board covers breakfast and dinner. Mornings start with a buffet – think cereal, toast, cheese, cold meats, yoghurt, fruit and hot picks like eggs, bacon and pancakes. In the evening, you'll get a 6-course meal with a buffet starter, main course brought to your table, salad and cheese buffets, then desserts to treat your sweet tooth. Flavour-wise, it’s classic Italian from pasta to tiramisu.
