With 60 shops Cavalese is one of the better choices in Europe for shopping skiers. One of the main local crafts is wood carving and there are half a dozen artisan's outlets such as Fiemme's Craft by Marco Nones which retails beautiful wood carved items on Viaelo Tintori
Look out for shops selling local food and drink poroducts too, such as honey and other products of apiculture, chocolate, candies, jams and fruit sirups, speck (smoked bacon) and the local Trentino cheese.
There's a big market every last Tuesday of the month (except July) at Piazza Fiera and Viale Libertà as well as a small market weekly on Tuesday and Friday.
Of course there are also plenty of ski stores as well as shops catering for all holiday requirements.
